Contents. What Are AddonsIf you have been playing Kerbal Space Program for any length of time, and have gone on the forums blogs or watched any of the tutorial youtube videos, you have probably heard of Addons.Addons, mods or plugins are modifications to the official version of the game. They either add new parts, systems and mechanics to the game or replace existing ones.

Kerbal Space Program: Enhanced Edition is a game like no other on PlayStation 4, not only in terms of its space program-running gameplay, but also in terms of what’s going on under its.

Addons are generally made by the community rather than the developers and can greatly enhance the playing experience. Due to their widespread popularity, Squad offers an official website for exchanging them, the.Addons are great for people who have been playing the vanilla version of KSP for a while, and are looking for more of a challenge. To read More About Addons refer to the page.Specifications. Length: 5–10 minutes. Difficulty: Medium. For version: Every versionVocabularyIf you are new to KSP, or the Addon part of KSP specifically, some of the terminology may be confusing.Kerbal Spaceport - Kerbal Spaceport is the old version of the official site for downloading Addons. The new official site for KSP Addons can be foundVanilla KSP - A KSP game without any Addons.

(Basically what you get when you download the game from squad.)Steps Step 1 - Choosing an AddonThis is important because each addon will change the game in different ways. Make sure that your computer's graphics card and memory are in good standing, or the game will lag. An example of a plugin that might do this is the Kerbal Beautification Addon. Choosing an addon that will be fun and interesting is important. There are many addons to choose from. One of the best ways to figure out what you are looking for is to just read blogs, forums, and watch YouTube reviews. Some of the more popular mods are MechJeb, Remote Tech 2, Ferram Aerospace Research, Deadly Re-entry, along with countless other mods. For the sake of simplicity, we are going to install MechJeb, one of the most popular addons for Kerbal Space Program.

Mechjeb is an autopilot system, hence the name 'Mechanical Jebediah'. Besides allowing for automated maneuvers it also gives you a ton of data on the characteristics of your spacecraft that Vanilla KSP does not have, like Delta V, Thrust to weight ratios, burn times, orbital data, and much, much more. So even if you are not interested in using the autopilot function it can be a very helpful mod to make you a better pilot overall.Step 2 - Downloading the AddonClick on the 'download now' button on the addon page and a download should start. The download should be in your downloads, if not then check where the download took place.Step 3 - Placing the addon in your gameClick on the Addon's file, usually a file, and you should see a folder with the name: 'MechJeb2' if you downloaded the most recent version.

The KSP folder and click on. You should see a 'Squad' folder if you haven't modded your KSP version yet. Now drag your 'MechJeb2' folder into the game folder and tada! You have now successfully installed an addon.

Close the KSP folder and the addon folder if you wish and now you can start the game and enjoy the addon!Finishing wordIn case you mess up anything make sure you backup your KSP folder beforehand. There are hundreds of mods out there so go check the forums, the spaceport, and even youtube videos to give you an idea of what mods you can choose!

If you are extremely patient, then Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition has a deep and rewarding game to offer you. But that patience isn't just tested in the tutorial or painstakingly crawling your way over the steep learning curve. It will be tested throughout your entire experience with the pacing, bugs, and even control scheme itself.

Kerbal Space Program is a fantastic and unique gaming experience, and it's a valiant effort to bring this to consoles that rarely even attempt games this outside the box, but ultimately it always feels like a port, and one that would simply be better enjoyed with a mouse and keyboard. If that's not an option, there is an opportunity here to get a taste of one of the ways the PC gaming community stays weird, but be prepared to spend a long time chewing on it before you'll enjoy that taste. It's such a shame that Kerbal Space Program is so shoddily ported, because underneath its buggy, messy experience lies a fantastically detailed game with plenty for science nerds.

The career mode offers replayability and near-endless depth, while the tutorials are hugely helpful in bringing new people into the complex clutches of physics, but its plethora of bugs and some huge design oversights make it very hard to recommend. The gameplay itself shoots for the stars, but its technical problems bring it crashing back down. If you are passionate about space, rockets and orbit and aerodynamic physics, you will love this game. First of all we must say that it is a If you are passionate about space, rockets and orbit and aerodynamic physics, you will love this game. First of all we must say that it is a fairly complex game since the applied physics are very real and if you add to that its control and playability makes this game not for all audiences, but if you still like it the challenges and you love the world of space this game will like you. It really is like any other game in the aspect of controls and is that once you know how to play and learn the controls, they will not forget you and you will be able to play for many hours with lots of pleasure and fun.

If I had to say the genre of the game, it would undoubtedly be a simulation, since we will have to build our own spaceship or rocket and make trips through space, either to accomplish missions very similar to those that NASA could fulfill, such as discovering new planets, conditions of habitability and even combats. Kerbal is not for everyone. The game looks nice, but the controls can be frustrating.

It also takes quite a bit of knowledge of physics that Kerbal is not for everyone. The game looks nice, but the controls can be frustrating.

It also takes quite a bit of knowledge of physics that the game does a horrible job of teaching you so you will depend a lot of the expansive online community that is mostly dedicated to the PC version of the game If you are okay with the learning curve tho this game can be a lot of fun. The fun of a successful launch and mission after failure is exciting and fun and can't be discounted. Update after the new dlc on consoles: great job, but i dont't know why you guys don't give us the language packs too. The new control update after the new dlc on consoles: great job, but i dont't know why you guys don't give us the language packs too. The new control options were most welcome.

In the first version for the PS4, I actually left the game due to bugs and difficulty in controls. This enhanced version I can't stop playing.

I'm waiting for new versions until it stays the same as the PC. Suggestions for fixes / improvements: - When we are close to the limit of saves, the game tends to slow or crash. Need to improve the save / load window, it is unnecessarily slow loading the saves list. Since the last patch there is a loading when you make the revert to launch or VAB that did not exist in the release version.Sometimes when I make a fast-forward on track-station, and I visit a different object than I was before entering the track-station, the time comes back before fast-forward when I return to the track-station of this second object. Ex: ship at dune - track-station - fast-forward some months - base at minus - track-station and orbits is before last fast-forward, so I repeat the process and I can continue.

First of all, I'd like to say KSP is a fantastic game! I really enjoy it. Exploration, creativity, problem solving, it really lets you do a First of all, I'd like to say KSP is a fantastic game!

I really enjoy it. Exploration, creativity, problem solving, it really lets you do a lot of things as you build rockets, planes, rovers, submarines, and space crafts to try and reach different planets and moons in the Kerbal system. Unfortunately, the support is horrific. The patches are few and far between. Many times breaking more than what was fixed. From the dawn of the game's original release on consoles it was a very dark time. After your save file reached a certain size the save was corrupted.

Eventually the current Enhanced Edition was released, and it was a whole new wor. Solar system. In the game's current state for PS4 at least it is unplayable. I am unable to speak to the stat of the XBox version. When the game is working it is wonderful.

Picturesque backdrops for your crafts while in space. But, as you try to complete missions a number of strange new bugs have cropped up completely ruining the experience. It pains me to say this, as I really enjoy the game when its working. But, stay away from KSP Enhanced Edition until this new fleet of bugs has been addressed.

At this moment game can be described as 'hardly playable' aside the saving bug, the controls are horrible. Sometimes left is left sometimes At this moment game can be described as 'hardly playable' aside the saving bug, the controls are horrible. Sometimes left is left sometimes (and it is not connected at all with flight) left goes for right.

PS4 doesn't support bluetooth mouse. Playstation Store denies refund for this undeveloped piece of annoyance! Don't buy it for PS4 because you will regret it!
