Gears Of War 3 Bots Are Stupid
Posted on 19 August 16 at 19:44So, i've read several threads all over the internet, pleople claim and yell a lot of stuff, but I haven't got a conclusive answer.I decided today to try and get my last few achievements online versus bots in social. Submission, Wingman and Annex.I start multiplayer, choose social and then select Wingman, or Submission. The game starts searching for players. Obviously it doesn't find any, but back in the day the game would just quickly put me in a game with bots. Unfortunately, now it just keeps searching and searching and searching. Really annoying.It doesn't matter which game type I search for, it keeps infini-searching, no bots to be found.So what happened? I'd love to get those last achievements but I can't get them when i can't even get in a game with bots.

There are no xbox live issues at the moment. The very first time i got a message about my NAT but back in the day that would mean i would be put into a bot game more quickly. After restarting etc i'm not getting the NAT message anymore. But it is still stuck on searching for players, without the bots.If anyone has a clear answer to why this is happening and how i may fix it, that would be appreciated. I was trying to grind out my Meatflag and Guardian wins with bots, a terrible idea but I hate trying to get into Gears sessions since something always goes wrong. And this would happen some days. I'd set everything up to make life easier and then none of my consoles would ever connect. But then on other days I'd get into games immediately where one person was using bots, leave that game and then immediately find another, different game, so it took forever before I could get into one solo.So basically the game is just really wonky these days. Best bet is to get two consoles going and hope that you can connect to each other.

This way if one gets in the other may be able to hop into that game instead of just sitting at the menu.
