CtrlAlt

Hello my friends,I activated the ctrl alt disable login screen for Windows 10 by using this registry key from this forum.I downloaded and installed the key to disable only to find it didn't work so I tried to manually do it by changing the number from 0 to 1 only to find its already at 1.I also tried going the user passwords2 to find the box to disable ctrl alt disable login is already ticked, but is greyed out meaning I can't untick the box.Help.Sad I did try everything i could find on the internet, but to no avail.:). Win 10 Lock Screen pic won't changeI can't change the picture on my lock screen. Yes I'm on a domain, and yes there is a ctrl-alt-delete log in. Yes Windows is activated. I've deleted SystemData folder.

I can actually select a new picture now, but it just reverts to the default screen whenI lock the computer. The only thing that works is if I disable ctrl-alt-delete login it then WORKS, but I kind of need my ctrl alt delete login. How is there not a fix for this? Win 8.1 locked screens worked fine with ctrl-alt-delete.

Remove Ctrl Alt Del

I have been googling extensively to figure this out, and nobody seems to be able to give a direct answer.Let me start by saying that I'm NOT talking about requiring CTRL-ALT-DEL to enter logon information.I'm working on a golf simulator program which is used at golf centers. I need the ability to completely disable the CTRL-ALT-DEL key sequence so that the golf center customers can't get out of the program and access the computer at all. I realize there are other key combinations that need to be handled as well, we already have this entire feature working in XP, but we're going to be switching to Windows 7 soon, and CTRL-ALT-DEL is the only one that doesn't seem to work in Win7.

I'd really like an all-around solution if at all possible. This same program may also be installed on a client's personal computer for an in-home golf simulator, but the computers that really need this feature (golf center computers) are provided to the golf center by us, so would the best option be to write a new shell? I don't know anything about that at all, other than others that suggest writing a new shell for kiosk mode.I'd really like a simpler option, like modifying the registry in some way. I have heard that you can remove some buttons from the menu screen that pops up, but unless I can remove pretty much all of them (including the shutdown/restart button in the bottom-right corner), this won't be enough of a solution for me. How to remove the Lock option from the Ctrl+Alt+Delete screen in Windows. Select the Enabled radio button and then click on the Apply button. Finally click on the OK button and close the Group Policy Editor. Windows 8 will no longer show the lock option when that user uses the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keyboard combination. Home Users: Disable Windows Lock by Editing the Registry. Change the value from 0 to 1 in the “Value data” box to enable the new key, which in turn disables the lock workstation functionality. You can now close Registry Editor. The changes take place immediately, so no need to restart your computer or anything.
